Capture Video From DVR
« on: December 11, 2012, 07:15:07 AM »
I know there's probably a way to do this but I was wondering if anyone here would know the best way to do this. What I want to do is this. Say I record a show/movie on my DVR, is there a way I could take that recording and put it on my computer so I could burn it to a DVD? I'm thinking it would have to be a special graphics card or something.

You may want to start here. Good luck. Lots of TV stuff is copyrighted so anti copying is built into your dvr.

You must forgive them. So many people did not slay the bogey man living under their bed as a child. Thus they feel him everywhere, hence the need to always carry a gun. Living in fear of the bogey man is a heavy burden for people to carry. So sad.

Yes, I was thinking about that. The only reason I was asking is because during the holidays they have these cartoon movies that my wife loves to watch every year but I can't find them on DVD anywhere. I thought maybe I could get them that way.

Thanks bbell
