Windows 10 Upgrade
« on: July 29, 2015, 06:30:25 PM »
I just finished downloading Windows 10 upgrade ISO for 32 bit and 64 bit. I then found this easy to use ISO burner for free to burn it to DVD. I can now upgrade using my DVD instead of over the internet or install Windows 10 any time I want, just need the Key for whatever OS you had before. Here are the links to the ISO Burner and the Windows 10 downloads.

Thanks for the info on upgrading Windows 10.  I think I am going to do this too.

Thanks, Thumb. I haven't gotten anything yet from Microsoft other than the promise that it would be soon. However, having a disk would be nice for back up purposes.

I made my DVD and USB for Windows 10 for 32 bit and 64 bit.  I have one desktop that has Windows 7 32 bit.  But I don't want to install Windows 10 just yet.  I am going to wait awhile and when they get most of the bugs out, i will install it.  I am interested in reading anyone's opinion on Windows 10.

Thus far I am finding it a nice operating system. I don't use Windows very often, so I have found nothing critically wrong with it. My Office 2010 didn't want to shut down the other day after I ran Word, but that may just be a minor issue that will not recur. There is a small window which flashes on and off on the desktop too quickly to determine what it is. I have been experimenting with removing any unnecessary items from the start up menu, but thus far have not discovered the cause. I have another suggestion to check in Regedit which I will try later today. My suspicion is that it may be an artifact of crap that loaded into Win 7 when I downloaded Imgburn. I thought I got all of that stuff off of the computer before I loaded Win 10, but I may have been optimistic.

I'm having a couple of minor problems also but they are minor. In Google Chrome browser I can't seem to get my home page to load when I open Chrome, it just keeps opening Google Searcg in one tab, Yahoo search in another and then my home page in another tab. The other minor problem is that the taskbar seems to have two rows instead of one, there's a black space under all my icons in it.
