Be careful when downloading any so called "Spyware" products.

hello all  Hope you guys and gals are all okay
My  old laptop wont boot. so Im presently on this yard sale  loud annoying computer . Bought it  couple of years ago. It has "Mail skinner "and" pest trap "installed.   With that big annoying popup window telling me that this comp is infected .Tried to uninstall in "add and remove programs"   It stops and tells me I need to connect to the internet,    Tried over and over to remove it.  What is a safe and free removal program. ?
I saw where "spyware warrior "forum was mentioned. But I dont see a search on that forum
Thanks all
dust bunnies are my  ONLY pets and now new pet to chase them LOL

There is a search feature on spyware warrior, it's just below the forum header.
If you can connect to the internet, try http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ or malwarebytes.
