Once again RedBox strikes out and Blockbuster wins, the latest DVD release Avatar cannot be found at Redbox but you can find it at the Blockbuster kioks, I already got mine with a free promo code, it's too bad there are not enough BB kioks around so that everyone here can take advantage of them, but if they keep growing, you can expect to see more and more of them around..

Several of the BB retail stores have closed here in Milwaukee. I wish there were more of the Redbox.
I can wait for them to get the movie. I've waited this long to see a movie, whats one more month.

I watched it at the theater in 3D.  I have elected not to buy the Blu-Ray until they at least come out with a special features version this fall.  Those Hollywood heros are going to milk this and not produce a 3D version until well into next year, maybe.  IMHOp 3D is the only way to watch it.  Furn Gully on steriods, but cool.

Well, Redbox now has Avatar, not the Blu Ray or 3D version just the plain DVD.  It is still renting out for .99, I did read in inside Redbox that they are still test marketing higher prices to rent (from 1.15 to 1.99)

Redbox is already charging $1.50 here in ABQ.  No marketing.  Just charging.

That is quite a big increase (doesn't seem like it at first but if you add it all up it is a big increase).
I guesss they figure they can get higher prices now.  There is no Blockbuster Kiosek boxes near here yet.  The Hollywood Video stores have all closed that are near here.  We don't have any Brick and Mortar video rental places near here all all now.  Just have Redbox now.
