I paid a buck at Redbox and want my dollar back.  If I had used a free code for it, I'd want double the codes back.
Wasted an hour and a half of my life on this.

Now you tell me after I just picked it up. I was told a few days ago that it was sort of like the Blair Witch Project movie which I barely got through watching.

I have that one on hand to watch. I think I will and see if we concur. I have read extreme views on this film at either end of the spectrum. People loved it or thought it was total BS. I think you have made very clear which end of the spectrum you are on. I will let you know what I discover. I also found the Blair Witch Project worthless, wondering what the positive critics were smoking during the film.

All I can say is, NI4NI you are a better man than I am. I couldn't get past the first 30 minutes. The entire thing is so incredibly amateurish and silly. Watching the "event" and the reaction to it demonstrates the essence of "magic." It isn't what happens that matters. It is the effect that it seems to engender. This is a simple case of someone's imagination running rampant or simply a prank. The moving door reminded me of a gag my former brother-in-law played on his father one night. His father used to get up at approximately the same time to urinate every night. The son rigged a fine line of monofilament from his bedroom to the toilet seat. When he heard his father in the bathroom he simply pulled the line and the toilet seat fell down causing his father to urinate all over it, an act that was accompanied by a full range of epithets.
This film is just like the Blair Witch Project in terms of its absurdity. If you are not inclined to believe in spirits you will immediately see through the idiocy. If you are a believer then you will surely find this film a revelation. This one is definitely for the Koolaiders.

This was my exact feeling on this movie, kept looking at the clock to see when movie would be over.  I watched the whole thing cause the reviews said it was a very scary movie.  I kept waiting for something to happen.
