is this a good internet security suite?

None of these "suites" are worth using. In every case you are talking about industrial strength software that overwhelms your machine, eating up memory and virtual memory that is much better used for running programs you want to use. Free software like Avast, ClamAV-Win,  Malwarebytes Remover, and Zone Alarm can perform all of the necessary functions without overwhelming your machine. McAffee, Kapersky, Norton, et al. are resource demanding, generally much more expensive than they need to be, often having an annual fee for updates, and not any more effective than a combination of the free software and good judgment which will keep you off of websites that spread the stuff you are trying to block. I have been using only free software for the last five years. I have had no problems. (period!)
