How to recover deleted flash memory stick files

Hi guys.. once again I am asking for your help with a problem I have. I accidentally deleted some files from my flash memory stick connected to a USB port on my PC. Since these deleted files do not go into a recycle bin like on a regular PC, the files cannot be recovered easily. I did a search for a good freeware program to recover my files, but the ones I found didn't work too well, there are some programs out there which were able to find the deleted files but they will not recover them unless I pay for those additional features, and they are kind of expensive.

My question is : Do any of you know of any good free programs you may have used, that will recover these files ?. Thanks for your help..
