Problems started yesterday morning. Could not get on web. A "mozilla crash report" kept coming up. could not get IE to work either. Zone alarm asked for Int access to Firefox> the orange header said program address etc had changed
kind of saw that part but brain did not react soon enough.
So with "some" help with Great nephew via phone. He told me about "search. I had no idea I could "browse" that way."Found "search" . He had me enter safe mode first. when that did not help did "search" under start menu.
So now Firefox crashed. IE is not working with the latest version of Firefox version 3.63.
Uninstalled from "Add and remove programs "from control panel via "start menu at least three times.
so should I downgrade an older version
?I did remove and reinstall version 3.63 several times. Then installed old version 3. It worked after going to Mozilla safe mode, under "all programs". Then I went to " at top of tools > Help">CHECK FOR UPDATES". Then downloaded version 3.1....... said that version had security problems. So upgrade. AGAIN the 3.63. so long story shorter is IE is not working, Duh......
Wanted me to download a newer version of Adobe flash player. I did so. I unchecked Mcfee scanner. but waiting to hear from you guys ,suggestions, Please. before I install the new Adobe flash player.
I know I have other problems too, LOL
